CONSENT & BOUNDARIES

It is not my goal or purpose to ensure you get a tattoo. My goal is to ensure you feel safe, valued, and leave with an experience you enjoyed and then hopefully if all goes well, provide you with a piece of art to adorn your body for the rest of your life.

The act of tattooing is a precious and creatively driven intimate exchange between the provider and receiver. This should not be violated.

That being said, both the tattooer and tattoo getter have boundaries that should not be crossed and consent that should be respected.
If at any point before, during, or after you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, unsure or unwell, please let me know. I will not be upset if you change your mind or need to stop.

All I ask in return is the same curtesy and respect ♡

  • Leave the second skin bandage on for 3-5 days. IF at any point your tattoo becomes exposed from under the bandage, your skin becomes noticeably irritated, or if it begins to leak please remove the bandage right away.
remove the second skin bandage in the shower under warm water pulling from the bottom corners in an out and down motion. This may be uncomfortable but should not be painful. After removal, clean1-2 times a day with a non scented soap and begin apply a light layer of an unscented soap. Do this for an additional 2-3 weeks.

*** keep your tattoo out of immediate sunlight and remember to wear sunscreen once healed***
DO NOT itch, pick, peel or scrub at any skin or scabs that may form. it will be UNGODLY itchy, but try to avoid scratching so you don't accidentally cause fall-out. ****

  • Allow the temporary bandage to stay on for atleast an hour after application, or until you can safely clean it. With clean hands, remove the bandage and dispose of it properly.
Under warm water, rinse off your tattoo and gently wash with a non-scented antibacterial soap (something comparable to Dial Gold, or Dr. Bronner's Baby Scented soap).
There may be a slimy residue on your tattoo, it is important to continue gently washing until this is gone. After cleaning, pat dry with a clean paper towel and allow to air dry for five minutes.
Then proceed with applying a THIN layer of white non-scented lotion (aveeno, lubriderm, cerave etc.) Do this 2-3 times a day for a week, and then once a day for another 1-3 weeks until your tattoo is completely healed.
Try to wear loose fitting clothing to avoid any clothing from rubbing or sticking to your tattoo.
